16 LOOOOOOOONG Weeks!!

I haven't forgotten about this family blog I am trying to create, I just haven't been able to do much of anything for the last 16 weeks!  16 LOOOOOOONG weeks of feeling tired, nauseaus, and like life would be have easier in a coma!!  Basically I gave up a lot of things in my normal life 16 weeks ago to lay around and wish the time away.  There is nothing like poor health to humble you to the core and make you re-evaluate life and what's most important.  I know in March I will be grateful for another little cutie to love and cherish for the rest of my life, but that seems so far away.  Things are starting to get better so I am back to the blog and I have missed a lot!!  We had two birthday parties, first day of school, a boating event and a visit from Grandma and Grandpa and Jane and Mares!

First we had Matthew's Army Birthday Party!!!

Next was Emmilyne's Late-Over Party, bomb fire neighborhood party, and
real birthday. SEPT. 12, 2001 was a great day after the horrible Sept.11, 2001.
We will never forget how Emmilyne reminded us and the whole NJ hospital that there
is still good in the world!!!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL ( went better for some, if you can't
tell by the pictures)

BOATING with the BERGERONS on the Potomac River

(I kept everything down until we got home that night)

and last but not least, the PUMPKIN PATCH with Grandma Janet,
Grandpa Doug, Mares, and Jane!!  It was a blast to be with them,
if only they lived a little closer so we could do it more often.

Now on to the next 16 weeks!  Just hope they go a lot more quickly!!!!!

  2. Oh Julie- you know I feel your pain. It makes me feel nauseous just thinking about it- I hope you get to feeling better soon.
I am so glad to see you did a "late over" because Kennedy's B-day is next week and I was just asking Nathan if it was lame or cool to do a late over since sleepovers aren't really an option. So, question answered- it's cool :)
    Feel better!!!

  3. Love the new background Julie so festive! Glad to hear you are feeling better and of course as always you look gorgeous. It was fun to get caught up on your family happenings. You at least have an excuse for taking the last 16 weeks off. I just recently caught up on 9 months of our blog and have no reason for getting so far behind. Is that your backyard with the bonfire?

  4. Hey, I just got caught up on your blog. It made me miss you! You were so sweet to send that thank you card to me last month for me sending you a b-day card. So thoughtful! So I love what you guys did to the backyard. The bonfire pit and seating looks awesome!!! Good job! Oh, I hope you're feeling slightly better. Can't wait to hear what you're having too!
