It Doesn't Get Better Than This!!!!

Birthdays, Birthdays, and more Birthdays!! We started with Grandmother Heintzelman's 83rd birthday - a morning surprise party. Nothing like a little cake at 9 am...vacation, right?

Grandmother, Michelle and me chit chatting. Poor Michelle was 9+ months pregnant here....she did finally have the baby and after the whole vacation was over, thankfully.

Next was our very own Matthew's 7th Birthday!! His first wish was to get up early and "dig" on the beach, so here he is with all of us (minus Willie he slept thru it) at 7 AM for a morning dig. The start to a very good day!!

Birthday breakfast of chocolate chip, or berry, pancakes....the chocolate chips were a bigger hit!

Toy Story 3 (another birthday wish) was so fun to enjoy with lots of family!!

Matthew requested a shark cake ONLY because the day before his birthday he was in the ocean when someone from a condo balcony with binoculars started screaming for us to get him out because a shark was approaching MATTHEW, very freaky....let's just say it was a little difficult to go in the water after that, at least for some of us!

Luckily he has a dad who is an artist who can decorate a cake with utensils from a rented kitchen......

. . . and luckily he finally got the presents he has been DYING for: legos, legos, legos.

Last, but not least, was Dad's 60th birthday party with cake, games, a movie of his life, and an iPad!! He deserves it, 60 good years!
